It's a High-Tech Holiday Season

It's a High-Tech Holiday Season The holiday season is underway and it’s no surprise that many of us are scrambling to find the perfect last-minute gifts for our friends and family. Luckily, this year, there’s help. Recently, Cat Schwartz, the Hi-Tech Mommy, teamed up with YourUpdateTV to discuss some of the best gadgets on the market in 2017.

Once again tech is going to rule the holiday shopping season, whether it’s the products we buy or the way that we buy them. According to the Consumer Technology Association, nearly 60 percent of gifts purchased this holiday season will be tech related, including video game consoles, smart phones, televisions, laptops and tablets.

Not only that, for the first time ever, consumers will do more shopping on their smartphones than ever before. People are also shopping online at record rates.

Eye-Catching Gifts

We get used to using our phones to snap pics but the quality often suffers, so if you’re looking to buy for someone who posts a ton of photos, an aspiring social media influencer or the person who's just into fantastic imagery, help them take it up a notch with the Nikon D7500.

This DSLR camera helps you take incredible images thanks to amazing low light capability, stabilization technology, a super-fast 8 frames per second shutter speed and most of all, it’s ease of use. Also, it takes 4K Ultra HD video and has pro-grade creative tools which makes this baby so versatile. Personally, I love that it has Wifi capability so through the Nikon SnapBridge App, pictures and videos can be transferred to phone or computer over WiFi.

Wearable Tech<

Wearables are on the rise again, but this year, consumers are looking to do more than simply count their steps. They want multi-purpose devices that they can connect with their smartphones, third-party apps, and everything in between.

The new Samsung Gear Sport smartwatch is a great option for consumers looking for a little bit of everything. Aside from telling time, it’s water resistant up to 50 meters, allows you to send and receive texts, play music via your Spotify playlists, check the news or weather, and of course, monitor your fitness levels. It has a versatile and timeless design, perfect for the office, gym or swimming pool. Not to mention, starting today you can get $50 off if you buy a Gear Sport from Samsung.com so check it out today!
