Part of Oskar Eustis' 10th Anniversary season, this deliciously funny new drama about the people shaping, and skewing, the American economy began previews on Tuesday, March 1 and has now been extended a final week to Sunday, May 1, with an official press opening on Tuesday, March 22. BAM has confirmed plans for Royal Shakespeare Company's productions of William Shakespeare's history plays, RICHARD II; HENRY IV Parts I and II; and HENRY V, all directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran, to be performed in repertory at the BAM Harvey Theater from Mar 24 through May 1, 2016. KING AND COUNTRY: SHAKESPEARE'S GREAT CYCLE OF KINGS is a worldwide theatrical event marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, with performances at BAM, London's Barbican, and in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's BRIGHT STAR Opens on Broadway - 3/24/2016

TEENAGE DICK Premieres at Public Studio - 3/24/2016

In this third year, PUBLIC STUDIO will present PRETTY HUNGER by Public Theater Emerging Writers Group alumna Patricia Ione Lloyd, directed by Martha Banta, running March 10 through March 19. The second show, TEENAGE DICK by Mike Lew, will be directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel and run March 24 through April 2.

The Old Globe welcomes Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, making his musical directing debut with RAIN, a sumptuous world premiere musical by one of the most significant teams working in theatre today: composer and lyricist Michael John LaChiusa (The Wild Party, Giant) and book writer Sybille Pearson (Giant). Based on the short story by Somerset Maugham, RAIN will play March 24 - May 1, 2016 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
