Karen Lynn Gorney & More Join Cast Of KNOCK IT OFF! At TNC

Karen Lynn Gorney, star of the movie "Saturday Night Fever" and "All My Children" joins the cast as Eyphah in 'Knock It Off!,' a farce by writer/director Peter Zachari, premiering at Theater for the New City in May 2019. Gorney is joined by Peter Zachari as Thomas, Lori Funk as Marcia/Deidre, Joey Mirabile as Budd, Nora Falk as Cora, Scott Ahearn as Roy and Amandina Altomare as Bernadette. Additional casting for the show will be announced in the coming weeks.

???????A cast of nine women led by Karen Lynn Gorney bring to life a story of the generational effects of the Holocaust in 'From Silence,' a new play by Anne Marilyn Lucas.  It is widely acknowledged that even as Holocaust survivors are passing on, their trauma lives on in their children and grand children.  This play explores how such trauma is inherited even without being spoken of, seemingly as a genetic or behavioral legacy.  The piece then illustrates that speaking out, processing and understanding can bring healing to families.  This world premiere will be presented by Theater for the New City from November 4 to 20, directed by Peter Zachari.

Karen Lynn Gorney, star of the 1977 movie 'Saturday Night Fever' and 'All My Children,' headlines From Silence, a brand new drama by Anne Marilyn Lucas premiering at Theater for the New City this November. Cast includes Audrey Heffernan Meyer, Krystal Rowley, Lori Funk, Nora Falk, Shannon Harrington, Tori Murray and Jessica Gollin. Additional cast TBA. The production will be directed by Peter Zachari.

Moreno (Hunter), Russell Norris (Bryce), Joey Mirable (Logan), Itanza Wooden (Afrodite), Thomas Royce Daniels (Brett), Scott Salame (Tyler), Brian Anthony Simmons (Fantasy Man #1) and William Chang (Fantasy Man #2). 

Casting is complete for Theater for the New City's premiere production of One Love: A New Play. Director-playwright Peter Zachari returns to Theater for the New City after his successful productions of Fat Asses: The Musical and Under the Knife: A Farce with this serio-comic valentine.

The New York International Fringe Festival is pleased to present ELEPHANTS AND OTHER WORLDLY DILEMMAS, a new comedy written by Dina Laura, directed by Peter Zachari and starring Dina Laura, John Olson and Matt Stapleton, at the 19th annual New York International Fringe Festival.
