RIALTO CHATTER: [title of show] to Play West End with Original Cast in 2011?

RIALTO_CHATTER_title_of_show_to_Play_West_End_with_Original_Cast_20010101New producer Very Clever Theatre Limited has revealed its forthcoming presentation; the originAl West End production of [title of show], the Obie-winning, Tony-nominated original musical about two guys writing an original musical called [title of show] with music & lyrics by Jeff Bowen and book by Hunter Bell.

Details of the production are to be announced shortly. The producers expect to open the show towards the end of 2011, with the full original cast, designers and director-choreographer. However this cannot yet be confirmed.

"I am absolutely thrilled to be giving this show the first class West End riding it so rightfully deserves," says Ollie Southgate, the show's sixteen year old head producer in London, "I have had such admiration for this piece since I first discovered it a few years ago. The fact that this project is finally growing into a full scale production is wonderful news for everybody involved. There is little to announce about the show yet, but I wanted to get word out as soon as possible; all you [tos]sers in London - [title of show] is coming to you!"

[title of show] was conceived by Bowen & Bell for the 2004 New York Musical Theatre Festival. From there, it went on to a short run at Ars Nova, a multiple Obie award-winning production at the Vineyard Theatre in New York in 2006, and finally a Broadway production at the Lyceum Theatre that ran July to October 2008. The originAl West End production will mark the first time that a first class production of [title of show] has been mounted since its time on Broadway.
