Last month, San Francisco's BAFF Film Festival ( awarded Juliette Bennett its "Best Actor in a Comedy" and "Best Actor in a Short Film" awards for her performance in The Couple.

The Couple will next screen at NYC's Anthology Film Archives on September 7th as part of the NewFilmakers Film Festival (

Bennett just completed a feature film role in Don Peyote, "a psychedelic comedy about the end of the world" starring Dan Fogler (Balls of Fury), Wallace Shawn (Toy Story) and Jay Baruchel (Tropic Thunder). The film is co-directed by Michael Canzoniero (Wedding Bros) and Dan Fogler (Hysterical Psycho). Bennett recently reunited with Director Alison Chernick to film Molly and Lara with Marisa Ryan (Wet Hot American Summer, Brooklyn Lobster)

Bennett stars with Bill Connington (Zombie) and Anthony Haden-Guest (The Last Days of Disco) in the short film The Thornhills of Park Avenue, directed by Thomas Caruso (Zombie). NY Cool called Bennett "a budding star." She has been cited as "a young, gorgeous woman who exudes sexuality . . . yet comic" by Pretty Scary, and The Huffington Post has written "Juliette Bennett delivers an assured and nuanced performance."

Next up for Bennett is a new film Patina with Carolyn Mignini (The Good Wife, I married Wyatt Earp), to be written and directed by Cornelia Ravenal ( Ravenal wrote the screenplay for the film The Other Woman ( in which Bennett starred. The film won the "Best of Festival" at the New York Downtown Short Film Festival in 2007.
