Behind The Scenes Of ALADDIN! First Footage; Cast & Creative Team Talk New Stage VersionThe very first footage from rehearsals of the new Broadway-bound stage adaptation of Disney's beloved animated classic ALADDIN is now available to view, including our first glimpse of the talented cast in action and in costume as well as interviews with the cast, creative team and much more.

"My wish for the audience for ALADDIN is that they will be completely moved by the show," director Casey Nicholaw says in the extensive new behind the scenes glimpse at the hotly anticipated screen-to-stage property, now in rehearsals in Toronto prior to its Broadway bow set for early 2014.

Previews for Disney's ALADDIN on Broadway begin February 26, 2014, with the production eyeing a March 20, 2014, opening night.

The official description of the new stage version of Disney's ALADDIN according to the new ad is as follows: "Disney's new musical comedy ALADDIN brings the classic story from the screen to the stage for a theatrical experience beyond anything you've ever dreamed. With just one rub of a magic lamp, ALADDIN's breathtaking journey sweeps you into an exotic world filled with big laughs, bold adventure and true love."

Disney's ALADDIN features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin, with the latter also responsible for the new book of the musical, and features direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw. The design team for Disney's ALADDIN includes Bob Crowley (Sets), Gregg Barnes (Costumes) and Natasha Katz (Lighting).
