This Sunday: As the nation's governors meet in Washington, we'll get The View from the states with two leaders of their parties: Gov. Deval Patrick (D-MA) and the Chairman of the Republican Governors Association, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA). How do issues like taxes, spending and the economy impact their states? Plus, Governor Jindal weighs in on the future of his party and what needs to be done to revamp their message to voters.

Then: Just days before automatic spending cuts go into effect yet no deal is in sight. What happens to the economy if Washington can't agree on an alternative plan? Plus, the political prospects for the current fights in Washington over guns and immigration? Our roundtable weighs in: Fmr. Democratic Congressman Harold Ford, Jr.; Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan; host of NPR's "Morning Edition," Steve Inskeep; and CNBC's dynamic duo Maria Bartiromo and Jim Cramer.
