Outfest 2012, the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing, showcasing and protecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media, has announced the award winners of its 30th Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.

The nation’s leading LGBT festival and the oldest continuously running film festival in the city ran from July 12th to 22nd. Outfest 2012 closes tonight with Brian Dannelly’s “Struck by Lightning,” starring Chris Colfer. Allison Janney, Rebel Wilson, Christina Hendricks, Dermot Mulroney and Ashley Rickards.
