Profiles in History, run by Joe Maddalena, is proud to announce that three iconic items, the "Rose DeWitt Bukater" jump dress from Titanic, Orlando Bloom's "Legolas" Bow from The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the original Gort helmet from The Day the Earth Stood Still all will be apart of "Drama, Action, Romance- The Hollywood Auction" on December 15 & 16.

Summoners Ensemble Closes One-Man A CHRISTMAS CAROL - 12/15/2012

Summoners Ensemble Theatre presents John Kevin Jones in his solo performance of A Christmas Carol directed by Dr. Rhonda Dodd. A Christmas Carol will play four performances only December 12-15 at The Studio Theatre in Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).

Two Verdi Operas Screen at Peterborough Players from The Met: Live in HD - 12/15/2012

Two operas by Giuseppe Verdi will be simulcast live on the Peterborough Players big screen on two successive Saturdays at 1:00 pm: a new production of Un Ballo in Maschera (A Masked Ball) on December 8; and Aida on December 15.

Kicking off the sixth season of Roundabout Underground, Bad Jews is a world premiere comedy by Joshua Harmon about the holy and the holier-than-thou. Daphna Feygenbaum is a Real Jew—just ask the Israeli boyfriend she met on Birthright. So when her cousin Liam brings home his shiksa girlfriend Melody and declares ownership of their grandfather's Chai necklace, it sparks a viciously hilarious brawl over family, faith and legacy.

Signature's GOLDEN CHILD Extends Again, Now Through 12/16 - 12/16/2012

Signature Theatre has announced a second one-week extension for GOLDEN CHILD by David Henry Hwang, directed by Leigh Silverman. The production will now play through Sunday, December 16. The production is currently in previews and opens on November 13 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Very limited availability remains for the production's initial run. Tickets during the extension weeks are $75 each.

MTC'S MURDER BALLAD Ends Extended Run at The Studio - 12/16/2012

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced that Murder Ballad, the new musical by Julia Jordan and Juliana Nash, directed by Trip Cullman, that opened to glowing reviews last night is extending by two weeks through Sunday, December 16 at MTC's The Studio at Stage II – Harold and Mimi Steinberg New Play Series at New York City Center – Stage II (131 West 55th Street).

The Public Theater Ends GIANT's Extended Run - 12/16/2012

The Public Theater announced today that it will extend the acclaimed epic musical Giant two additional weeks. The production must close on Sunday, December 16.

The Public's TWENTY-SEVENTH MAN Ends Extended Run - 12/16/2012

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that it will extend the acclaimed new production THE TWENTY-SEVENTH MAN an additional week, through Sunday, December 16. Written by Nathan Englander and directed by Barry Edelstein, THE TWENTY-SEVENTH MAN officially opened on Sunday, November 18 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 9.
