Magis Theatre to Present Her Name is Vincent: An Evening With Edna St. Vincent Millay - 11/14/2009

Get caught in a web of murder and lies as Lifetime Movie Network premieres the film adaptation of one of best-selling author Ann Rule's most popular crime books, Everything She Ever Wanted. Gina Gershon (Showgirls, Face/Off, Bound), Ryan McPartlin (TV's Living with Fran, TV's Chuck), Victor Garber (TV's Alias, Milk) and Rachel Blanchard (TV's Clueless, TV's 7th Heaven) star in the two-night, miniseries event. The highly-anticipated production is inspired by the true story of a Southern husband and wife whose storybook wedding signals the beginning of a nightmare marriage that is ultimately upended by greed and violence. Produced by Kurt Peterson and Edmund Gaynes in association with The Peccadillo Theater Company, the show will have its Opening Night on Sunday, November 22nd at 7 p.m. The limited engagement of ZERO HOUR will continue through January 31st.


Bill T. Jones / Arnie Zane Dance Company to Play Joyce Theater - 11/14/2009

The Joyce Theater will present the Bill T. Jones / Arnie Zane Dance Company for a one-week engagement from November 10 - 14. Appearing on The Joyce stage for the first time since 1996, the company will present the New York premiere of the critically acclaimed Serenade / The Proposition, one of three pieces created by Bill T. Jones in celebration of the bicentennial of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. Serenade / The Proposition was commissioned by The Joyce and had its world premiere at the American Dance Festival in 2008.

GOD OF CARNAGE Takes 'Summer Break', Re-Opens with Celebrated Cast Intact - 11/15/2009

The Tony nominated cast of Yasmina Reza's GOD OF CARNAGE have extended their contracts through November 15. The entire production will take a 6 week summer hiatus beginning after today's performance to allow the cast to fulfill previously scheduled family commitments.
