P. Murray - As a friend and former classmate of Sean Patrick Doyle, I "couldn't be happier" (if I may coin a phrase from S. Schwartz) for him or the cast of this great piece of music theater. I've known Sean for almost 8 years now, and to see his hard work, talent, and determination finally bring him to the Broadway stage makes me feel like a proud family member. I wish the "La Cage" cast & team all the best on what is sure to be a phenomenal run. And Sean, you know what I'm going to say to you. "DEFY IT!!"

Lizzy - Kara is one of the most refined singers I know. She has a fantastic voice and an ability to touch you to the very core of your being. She and her fellow musicians are not only authentic human beings, but also top grade artists. They deserve to be right up there in the music business. This show is a must for all interested in music.

barbara russell - this is the better of the videos featuring Ramin singing this song - his emotion and wonderful face and voice come through perfectly. Went to see love never dies after reading varied comments but I found it absolutely wonderful and the music and some songs were very memorable, but you have to be there to appreciate just how brilliant almost all of this NEW production is.

Roundabout to Replace LIPS TOGETHER with LES MISERABLES 2010/04/01

Rhiannon Page - Dear Broadwayworld, This is not funny! Les Miserables is my favorite show in the whole world, I've been dying for a revival I didn't even read the whole article until I was on the phone with my Dad trying to book a flight and figure it all out. When I got to the end of the article I cried, and I don't mean one little tear, I mean cried! You may think that makes me emotionally unstable, but I say it makes me a true Les Miserables fan! Let me know when they are doing a real revival! Thank You Very Much, Your once loyal reader, Rhiannon Page.

It is a wonderful piece of theatre and I can't believe the rubbish I read about it. If you have a soul then you will love this. EVERYONE I know who has seen it - and that's no small number - love it as much as I do. I agree with elky - it seems it's trendy to knock it. Well I'm happy to buck the trend. I loved it - and will see it again and again.

Sparky - What concerns me about this column is that it's written by someone who uses a pseudonym. That's ok for a Twitter handle or a blog but Broadway World is, I assume, a profit-making business, a professional online media outlet. I think the standards - and I assume the liability - are higher. We don't know who BroadwayGirlNYC is, any conflicts of interest she might have. It's fine when she's writing something fun but this steps over the line. If you're going to write a column like this, you ought to put your name on it like any other writer for a media outlet. I don't blame BroadwayGirlNYC. I put the onus on Broadway World. To allow a writer to repeat these rumors, to call someone a "villain" and to hide behind anonymity, well it doesn't give me any trust in Broadway World as a news source. It's cheap and unfair. I mean, does this outfit have any professional standards?

Wunderbar - "Otherwise we’re all just going to continue believing the worst…" PUHLEEZE don't speak for "all of us". Not all of us are so pitifully stupid and amateur to believe the worst like you. This entry goes well beyond opinion and into senseless assumption and bashing of a very talented- and by all other counts - intelligent actress. And by the way - didn't you answer your own question? if she's possibly facing legal action, that would preclude her from making any detailed explanatory statements except that of the most general nature.

@KassieOnBway - Are you kidding me? You really think ANY of her business should your business? GET A LIFE. Please! This is ridiculous. Her personal and professional choices are none of your business and you should be ashamed of yourself for even PUBLISHING this. How dare you. How rude do you have to be? If you're assuming the worst, that says more about you than about her.

broadwaycritic - Why does MM have to defend herself to you? I'm sure she had her reasons and good ones too! Obviously, Roundabout has moved on, so why can't you? It seems like it's none of your business. Instead of judging her, why don't you respect her decision and support "Everyday Rapture" instead of bothering MM for a defense.

RJM - there is legendary gossip amongst the industry that Joe Mantello is notorious for unprofessionally bullying his cast, given to fits of impetuous & impulsive tantrums. If this 'may' be true, then perhaps Ms. Mullally's departure was partly in due to this, as well as the added factor of her Mother's ill health. In regards to her Mother's condition, that is a very personal decision that should be respected. I find it to be very professional of her to disregard the rumors and to decline further comments at this time. That is a true 'class act'. In the future, more truth will be shed on the situation. In the meantime, let's embrace Sheri Rene Scott in "Everyday Rapture"!!

She looked cool calm and very collected. My first thought was how could she even show her face at a Broadway theatre but she did and no I did not say anything to her despite wanting to .... Bottom line theres no way Roundabout would cancel a production because of 1 actor despite who she is. Go figure....

Kim - I do believe that she might have put her foot into her mouth but only because she wanted what was best for the show. Her mother really is ill at the moment and being as Martha (her mother) is the only shred of family she has left; well Megan is worried. She is an only child and her father past away 18 years ago. It must be pretty tough on her. But for Megan to walk out of a show like that... She must have been pretty steamed. There was word from people at the theater saying that the director was being rude and childish and even yelled in her face at some point. So I give Mullally my full suport. And I hope she's doing well. Keep haning on out there. You can do it!

@MiragePro - New Yorkers are finally going to get a taste of what jazz lovers in Berlin, London, Paris, and Rome have been feasting on. Kara Johnstad and her band are coming to New York to serve up a banquet of songs by Michel Legrand. When Kara sings, her voice draws forth emotions that can leave one speechless, and a feeling of experiencing a small bit of heaven. I can honestly say she is one of my favorites, having used some her songs in film. This is one show you do not want to miss. A bit of honey, a dash of ambrosia, a pound of love, and a lot of soul. onewhoknows - She is too much of a professional to publicly speak - the director - don't you get it? he is an ass and is very disrespectful to actors - screams, hollers, sarcastic, bully and she is waaaaaay beyond his pitiful abilities to direct - has nothing to do with the other actors - he likes to whip up on his actors - sounds like a reason to do so is maybe of his own failed acting career - what acting career...then he moved into directing ..the director is the reason she left - and everyone get over it and stop hiring that bone head.
