Dr. Randall Wenzel - Robert Plant's post Led Zeppelin career had been a true godsend for us die hard Zeppelin fans. I know nothing will ever create my 1977 "Song Remains the Same" experience at the Seattle King Dome, but this will be a great tribute. I stayed overnight at a record store for those golden 100 level tickets. One must accept that Zeppelin will never tour again. Robert Plant really says it best. John Bonham and its founding members were Led Zeppelin. Not even Jason Bonham can recreate that.

S.R. - The interviewer was so horrible, I had to wipe off my keyboard from the drool. I love Kristen and thank goodness she is so gracious because from this it sounds like she had to do all the work while talking to a lazy drooling slobbering lap dog...Please BWW get someone else who has intelligence and respect for themselves and the ones they interview to conduct themselves without the need for a roll of paper towels next time.

EME - Wow... Honestly, such a horrible interview. The only thing that was in-depth was the extent of the idolization of the interviewer. I mean we ALL love Kristin but an interviewer should be semi-objective, at least. Please I don't want to read a love letter, I want to read what she has to say and what she thinks about Broadway and theatre!

Bill T - We saw this show on 10/2. We didn't think it was very funny at all. My wife and I grew up in Phila and are used to the language and events as portrayed in the show and are not easily offended. The problem here is the gratuitous use of foul language and racial sterotypes. What was paticularly offensive was Mr McCarthy's use of the words "retard" and "retarded". I have a 46 year old sister who has Down Syndrome and I have a real problem with people who use those words as an insult. Before you say we are thin-skinned, trust me we are not. The show was not funny in and of itself, and with the things I mentioned above, it was a waste of $47 per ticket and 65 minutes.

Oscar - What on earth? It is widely know that Maurice Wilkins was the first to capture DNA in a photograph! Also, the reason Franklin was nominated was because she was dead! The Nobel Prize is not awarded posthumously. I sincerely hope that the play gets these incredibly important details correct, and these infantile mistakes are just down to lazy journalism.

All of these girls had there red school jackets on and so wished they hadn't gone today. Why can't you just go to DL like everyone else and not announce your sexual orientation to everyone. You make people uncomfortable and do nothing to further your "cause".

S. Thompson - My friends and I saw the show tonight and it was EXCELLENT! We didn't know what to expect - was this going to be like Desperate Housewives or something?...Anyway, we got completely pulled into the stories of these five very different women and their journey as part of this rock band called MoM. We identified with a lot of the struggles the characters deal with as mothers, and also as professionals. This was a GREAT night of theatre - thought-provoking and FUNNN! SEE IT!

appalled - I will never get those 90 minutes of my life back. This "play" -- and I do use the term extremely loosely -- is an embarrassment to anyone who considers him/herself a theatre artist. Not a single authentic or emotionally honest moment in the entire script. Suspense? Insight? Humor? Ummmmm, no. I am absolutely appalled that this could get produced in the greatest theater city in the world.

BWW EXCLUSIVE: CARRIE Coming Back to Broadway 2010/09/17
Posted: 10/2/2010
Andy - Okay I think saying the original score in it's entirety was good is a bit of an overstatement... The original show had a lot of bad songs... But all the terrible songs in the show were the ones dumbed down into dance numbers so that Debbie Allen could have a choreography party i.e.: Don't Waste the Moon (Which is cut), Do Me a Favor (Not cut, but reworked to be much better), Out for Blood (Also cut), and the atrocious ear-sore Wotta a Night (CUT THANK GOD) Sorry I never understood why they hired her... I don't get why they needed dancing at all, aside from at Prom... Also, her choreography was just atrocious, no matter whether it was appropriate for the show or not... Now however, after hearing the new music, and I can happily say the whole score is indeed wonderful... No more dance numbers, just beautiful classically inspired songs sung by Carrie and Margaret, and some 80s rock songs for the teenagers (Which makes sense since the show is set in the 80s)... The contrast between the two styles works beautifully, and some of the new songs are truly amazing... Especially the songs that replaced Don't Waste the Moon and Out for Blood

Don Treact - If you use whites, you're no longer black. The CUSP is a white adult male. Now, if the CUSP sold used cars and spent three years falsely yelling and stating that the local kids were stealing them off his lot, and that this picture of reality defined everything he was doing, and then at the end it became possible to prove that the CUSP selling used cars was actually using the local kids who were in the car theft frame of mind as a way to create the reality he needed for his purposes, it would also be possible at that point to expose the CUSP who is a car dealer for major fraud on all social levels. Right after September 11, an obviously religious "woman" (or would she be an iPod, a twitter, a text message, a blackberry, or a music download?) put a very large rigid wood sign on the back of her car, perpendicular to the rear bumper, which described how September 11 was in fact based on the very sins itself of the United States. It was such a large sign she might have gotten stopped for having added it. But what she did get was photographed.

Don Treact - The CUSP is the Current U.S. President. Due to influences with no clear origins which the CUSP intentionally caused in order to get elected president with maximum effective and usable concealment once in, Hallmark removed Jessica Fletcher after a third entire run of her which began around July 8, '08. "The Golden Girls" replaced her in February, '09. The third run was used to take better notes from episodes which had been predicted and seen mostly in the first run, which is entirely in '07, plus those predicted and seen in the second run, which has the first, two-hour, primetime Jessica Fletcher episode at the end of it on the night of Tuesday, June 24, '08. The period leading to that night is what literally is under discussion in the above posts. So the question is, why did Hallmark so correctly realize that the CUSP was using Jessica Fletcher?

I saw the show in London and was very sceptical... but it was fantastic, the cast were great, we had Tam play The Phantom and he was even better than our Anthony Warlow here in Australia (sorry Anthony) actually he was amazing, his acting and voice were amazing. So all in all this is a fantastic sequel to a fantastic Phantom of the Opera. The music and songs are just as good. :o)

James J California - My buddy and I are sitting here reviewing our experience of the performance last night. I thought the performances were amazing! I loved the work and would recommend everyone get a chance to go and see the work! A complex story, staged very well by the way, with moments of great rewards. The set was simple but got the job done. The transitions were well executed. The music was superb - and of course if you are expecting the PSB's to be blasting in the theater, then you won't get what you want - I love, love, love Ms. Trixs - amazing performance and characterization. The local cast was also amazing. I would take this show on the road! Entertainment = 10; Music = 8; Technical execution = 9; Acting = 8; Singing = 8; Costumes = 9; Overall, I would give this production a 9.0 and call it a day. I would love to see it again!!! Thank you team!

CHRIS BURGESS - You only see productions of this calibre on the Fringe once in a blue moon. An extraordinary cast -West End calibre (and indeed the outrageous Michael Howe and the stupendous Siobhan McCarthyare West End stalwarts), witty direction, marvellously well-drilled choreography, and a show that has you laughing actual belly laughs - and that is rare. There is clearly some confusion about the review that started all the responses - and I'm confused too. This production is patently head and shoulders above most musical work on the Fringe (though 'Closer than Ever' at the Landor is recommended as well right now). Look, I loved it, and I'm recommending it to every musicals fan I know. Go. CHRIS BURGESS
