Meryl Streep To Play Susan Boyle In New Musical Biopic?!

Meryl Streep To Play Susan Boyle In New Musical Biopic?!Stage and screen superstar Meryl Streep is at the top of the list of contenders in contention for the lead role in a new feature film biopic depicting the instant rise to superstardom of unique performer Susan Boyle.

Boyle shot to fame with her passionate and unexpectedly stunning vocal performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" from LES MISERABLES on hit UK reality competition series BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT and has since sold nearly 20 million albums, racking up over 100 million YouTube views in the process.

Besides Streep, fellow Broadway/Hollywood marquee names Catherine Zeta-Jones and Glenn Close are both choices being mulled over by the producers, Simon Cowell and company, as well, according to a new report.

Additionally, Boyle says the production is not intended to commence for some time still, with production not proceeding until "later on".
