Artist Joshua Barber Presents New Richmond Painting Today

Barber is known for painting modern icons that are both whimsical and dark, as well as moody, dream-like landscapes. The "eleven" exhibit will present his icons and landscapes side by side for the first time. Barber will also exhibit new work, including a Richmond cityscape called, "i come from this place called richmond."

This show is presented in conjunction with Richmond's Glavé Kocen Gallery, which represents the artist. The exhibit will be on display from today, December 4, 2014 through January 11, 2015. For more information, please visit:

About Joshua Barber: Joshua Barber paints modern icons and landscapes. His stylized figures depict microcosms of memory both whimsical and dark. He has held several shows in Richmond and has also shown his work in New York, Los Angeles, Bristol and London.
