The Mission of the Theatre Program of the Fairmont State University Department of Communication and Theatre Arts is to provide students with a hands-on experience that incorporates theory and practice in the context of a liberal arts education while fostering ethically responsible, professionally-minded theatre artists to become practitioners, scholars, and educators.

College Playwrights Announces Free Event At Barter Theatre

Barter Theatre's College Playwrights Festival is a one-act playwriting festival dedicated to celebrating college undergraduate playwrights, giving them an opportunity to develop their work in a professional environment. Three college playwrights have been selected to have their plays developed and read by Barter's acting company!
DreamWrights Names New Theatre Office Administrator

DreamWrights is excited to welcome Kim Henry into the fold as its new theatre office administrator. Henry will handle the day-to-day operations of the box office and its show volunteers as well as the office administration duties.
