Lauren Molina is a multi-talented performer known for her work on both stage and screen. Born and raised in Michigan, Molina began her career as a musician before transitioning to acting.
Molina made her Broadway debut in 2006 in the Tony-winning musical "Sweeney Todd" as the beguiling Johanna. She went on to star in the Tony-nominated musical "Rock of Ages" as Regina, the hippie activist. Molina's other Broadway credits include "Candide," "Marry Me a Little," and "Desperate Measures."
Off-Broadway, Molina has appeared in numerous productions, including "The Skivvies," a musical duo she co-founded with Nick Cearley. The Skivvies perform in their underwear and play a mix of covers and original songs. Molina has also appeared in "Nobody Loves You," "The Heart of Rock & Roll," and "Sweeney Todd" (in a different production than her Broadway debut).
Molina has also made a name for herself in the world of television and film. She has appeared in several movies, including "The Good Shepherd" and "The Adjustment Bureau." On television, Molina has had recurring roles on "Elementary" and "The Good Wife." She has also made guest appearances on shows like "Law & Order: SVU" and "Boardwalk Empire."
