BIO
Corbin Bleu moved from New York to Los Angeles in 1996 and began working in television and film in the late 1990s, including High Incident (1997), ER (1998), Soldier (1998), Galaxy Quest (1999), Mystery Men (1999), and Family Tree (1999). He trained extensively in dance beginning in 2001 at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. His early film work included Catch That Kid (2004), and he starred as Nathan McHugh on the television series Flight 29 Down (2005–2007).
Bleu gained widespread recognition portraying Chad Danforth in Disney’s High School Musical (2006), High School Musical 2 (2007), and High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008). During this period, he also starred in the Disney Channel film Jump In! (2007) and appeared on television series including Hannah Montana, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, and The Amanda Show. He voiced roles in The Secret of the Magic Gourd (2007), Phineas and Ferb (2009), and other animated projects.
His subsequent film and television credits include Free Style (2009), The Beautiful Life: TBL (2009), To Write Love on Her Arms (2012), Scary or Die (2012), Sugar (2013), Nurse 3D (2013), Megachurch Murder (2015), Walk. Ride. Rodeo. (2019), Witches in the Woods (2019), and Camp Hideout (2023). His television appearances include The Good Wife (2010), Blue Bloods (2012), One Life to Live (2013), Psych (2014), The Fosters (2016), Castle (2016), The Middle (2018), Chicago Med (2018), Supergirl (2020), and Dynasty (2021). He competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2013, finishing as runner-up.
Bleu made his Broadway debut starring as Usnavi in In the Heights (2010). His stage work also includes Hairspray (Hollywood Bowl, 2011), Godspell (Broadway, 2012), Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical (Broadway, 2016–2017), Kiss Me, Kate (Broadway revival, 2019), Anything Goes (Arena Stage, 2018), Singin’ in the Rain (St. Louis Muny, 2018), Mary Poppins (St. Louis Muny, 2022), Little Shop of Horrors (Off-Broadway, 2023–2024), Summer Stock (Goodspeed Opera House, 2023), and The Great Gatsby (London Coliseum, 2025).
His music career began with the album Another Side (2007), followed by Speed of Light (2009). He contributed songs to multiple Disney soundtracks, including High School Musical, Jump In!, and Tarzan (2007).
