COMING UP ON "MEET THE PRESS"
"MEET THE PRESS" WEEKEND LISTINGS (9/22/13)

This Sunday: In the wake of the tragedy at Washington DC's Navy Yard, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre joins us exclusively with his first comments since the shooting. SAndy Phillips, mother of Aurora, CO shooting victim Jessica Ghawi, also joins us to make the case for tougher gun laws in the United States. She was on her way to lobby Congress as the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard was unfolding and she tells her story Sunday.

Next: The stage is set for a showdown in Congress over big-ticket agenda items like the budget, Obamacare and funding the government. We'll break it all down Sunday with key members from both sides of the aisle: Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Mike Lee (R-UT), and Congresswomen Barbara Lee (D-CA) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN).

Then: Dealing with major issues at home and abroad, how has the president fared in handling it all? Our roundtable looks at President Obama's leadership and the political impact of his decisions on Syria, the budget debate and more.
