Ramona Rizzo and Karen Gravano of the hit VH1 series "Mob Wives" will be publicly make a stand in support of marriage equality on November 17th and December 1st when they officiate the wedding of "Anthony" and "Andrew" in the hit Off-Broadway comedy "My Big Gay Italian Wedding."

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to New York City by popular demand for five performances only. The limited engagement will run at the NYU Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place (LaGuardia Place and Washington Square South), Thursday, November 15 at 8 p.m.; Friday, November 16 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, November 17 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m; and Sunday, November 18 at 3 p.m. In 2010 THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS was anine-month hit at New York's Westside Theatre.

AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE Extends Through 11/18 - 11/18/2012

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced that the critically acclaimed revival of Henrik Ibsen's AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, is extending one week due to popular demand at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Tickets for the production are now on sale through Sunday, November 18.


SORRY Closes at The Public Theater - 11/18/2012

The Public Theater will begin previews for the world premiere production of Richard Nelson's new play SORRY on Tuesday, October 30. SORRY, play three of The Apple Family Plays, takes place over a meal during the day the country will choose the next president – Election Day. The cast features Jon Devries, Maryann Plunkett, Laila Robins, Jay O. Sanders, and J. Smith-Cameron.


The Public Theater Ends Extended Run of WILD WITH HAPPY - 11/18/2012

SAndy Jordan -- a star of New York night clubs and cabaret for over three decades -- has focused her incredible experience and energy on a star-studded hour-long documentary film called "SAndy Jordan's World of Jazz and Cabaret." The producers have announced that the new musical, based on the 1983 movie perennial, will play a November 5 – December 30 holiday engagement. Opening night is Monday, November 19.

WNO Opens Three World Premieres for American Opera Initiative - 11/19/2012

Washington National Opera (WNO) will present the world premieres of three new 20-minute operas on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater: The Game of Hearts by composer Douglas Pew and librettist Dara Weinberg, Part of the Act by composer Liam Wade and librettist John Grimmett, and Charon by composer Scott Perkins and librettist Nat Cassidy. The three operas, each highlighting American culture and themes, are the first new works created under the auspices of the American Opera Initiative, WNO's new commissioning program.

THREE BLIND SAINTS Set for DVD Release by FilmWorks Entertainment - 11/20/2012

THREE BLIND SAINTS, the family-friendly comedy about three childhood friends scheming to make it big, announced today that it has signed a deal with FilmWorks Entertainment Inc. for worldwide distribution. The U.S. release is set just in time for Thanksgiving and the film will be available on DVD, digital and video-on-demand Nov. 20, 2012. International sales efforts will begin this October at the MIPCOM market, which is held in Cannes, France, Oct. 8-11, 2012.

DEATHTRAP and GYPSY Get Blu-Ray Release - 11/20/2012

The Warner Archive Collection (WAC) – the Warner Bros. Digital Distribution (WBDD) division dedicated to releasing on DVD previously unavailable films and television shows – today announced the launch of its first Blu-ray titles. The two titles, Deathtrap and Gypsy, will debut on November 20. Beginning in February 2013, WAC expects to release a minimum of one to two Blu-ray titles per month. Future titles include The Hudsucker Proxy and Fearless.

Gottfried Helnwein and The Dreaming Child offers a rare and intimate glimpse into the creation of The Child Dreams, an opera designed by world-famous Austrian artist Gottfried Helnwein for the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv in 2010. The Child Dreams is based on the play written by Israel's most famous and celebrated playwright, Hanoch Levin, who died in 1999. The libretto portrays the hopes and dreams of children in search of freedom and peace. Helnwein was chosen as production designer because the themes of childhood are a motif through much of his work and because of his LA Opera production ofDer RosenCavalier, which was brought to the Israeli Opera in 2005.


Stage Adaptation of MISERY to Premiere at Bucks County Playhouse - 11/24/2012
