The song was written in honor of the victims of anti-LGBT violence for 2013 New York City Pride. The video, which was produced and directed by filmmaker Ben Cadwallader, features Mr. De Jesus on vocals, Mr. Pfeil on keys, and cellist Bobbie L. Crow, III of the iconiQ String Quartet.
