THE APPLE TREE
IN TANDEM PRODUCTIONS
4/30-5/17/2010
From the songwriting team of "Fiddler On The Roof" and "She Loves Me" comes a unique evening of three one-act musicals about men, women and a little thing called temptation. The first, "The Diary Of Adam And Eve," is a quirky, touching spin on the tale of the world's first couple, adapted from Mark Twain's "Extracts From Adam's Diary." The second, "The Lady Or The Tiger?," explores the fickleness of love in a rock and roll fable set in a mythical barbarian kingdom. Finally, "Passionella" is based on Jules Feiffer's offbeat Cinderella-story about a chimney sweep whose dreams of being a "glamorous movie star" nearly sabotage her one chance for true love.

A 70-Minute, one-act version geared for middle-school age performers is available at http://www.mtishows.com/show_home.asp?ID=000311

Disney Channel's smash hit musical comes to life on your stage! On the front steps of East High, it's the first day after winter break ("Wildcat Cheer"). The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations, and look forward to the new year ("Start of Something New"). In Ms. Darbus' homeroom, basketball team captain Troy discovers that Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. When he calls her, the eccentric drama teacher quickly confiscates all cell phones and assigns detention. Between classes, Gabriella and Troy look at the audition sign-up for the school musical, but the drama diva Sharpay discourages them. At basketball practice, Troy tries to shake his desire to sing at the urging of his best friend Chad ("Get'cha Head in the Game"). Taylor, the science club president, discovers Gabriella's intelligence and encourages her to join the upcoming science decathlon. While the students learn how to "act" at detention, Troy's dad, Coach Bolton, faces off with Ms. Darbus - his star players can't miss practice for Friday's championship game! The next day, hopeful Thespians strut their stuff for Ms. Darbus ("Auditions"), but they're no match for Sharpay and her twin brother Ryan ("What I've Been Looking For"). Troy and Gabriella arrive too late to audition, but Kelsi, the show's composer, plays the song her way and encourages them to sing ("What I've

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
WILLIAMS BAY HIGH SCHOOL
5/21-5/23/2010
A down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination!

One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a house-hold name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the songwriting team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, who redefined the animated musical film with Disney's "The Little Mermaid", "Beauty And The Beast" and "Aladdin." Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, "Little Shop Of Horrors" never fails to entertain. A small cast, band and unit set make the other aspects of production a snap.
