Original Creative Team to Pen HORRIBLE BOSSES 2


As first reported on HollywoodReporter.com, the original creative team behind the blockbuster film 'Horrible Bosses' have signed on to write a sequel, HORRIBLE BOSSES 2.  Along with the film's original screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis are expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming film as well. New Line studios is currently negotiating with Seth Gordon to once again direct the movie. The original film was one of the top box office openings of all time for an R-rated comedy. 

'Horrible Bosses' hit theaters last July. It followed the story of Bateman, Day and Sudeikis, stressed out and overworked employees who devise a plan to do away with their bosses. Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey play the roles of the employers while Jamie Foxx portrays the threesome's 'murder adviser'.  The film grossed about $117 million in the US and $209 million worldwide.

Screenwriters Daley and Goldstein are currently collaborating on New Line's upcoming comedy, 'Burt Wonderstone', which stars Steve Carell and Jim Carrey
