Hugh Jackman Reveals 2nd Skin Cancer; Urges Sunscreen UsageBroadway headliner Hugh Jackman turned to Instagram yesterday to reveal that he has been treated for skin cancer for a second time.

"Another Basel Cell Carsinoma. All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!" pleaded the 'Wolverine' star to his fans, along with a photo of him with a bandage on his nose.

Last November, Jackman shared a similar photo as he revealed his first skin cancer scare. At the time, he credited his wife Deborra-Lee Furness for encouraging him to get the "mark" on his face checked out.

Just yesterday, BWW reported the official announcement that Sonia Friedman Productions will present the Royal Court Theatre production of THE RIVER, a new play by Jez Butterworth, starring Jackman, along with Laura Donnelly and Cush Jumbo, and directed byIan Rickson.

THE RIVER will open on Sunday, November 16 on Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theatre (West 50th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Previews begin Friday, October 31. The production will play a strictly limited 13-week engagement through Sunday, January 25, 2015. On sale dates will be announced in coming weeks.

THE RIVER was first developed by Sonia FriedmanProductions and was subsequently produced by the Royal Court Theatre. It was presented from October 18-November 17, 2012 in the Royal Court'sJerwood Theatre Upstairs, in a production directed by Mr. Rickson, also featuring Ms. Donnelly, who makes her Broadway debut alongside Ms. Jumbo.

Jackman was recently seen in Prisoners alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. Other upcoming big screen projects include X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Greatest Showman on Earth. Other films include The Wolverine and the Oscar-nominated movie adaptation of Les Miserables.

Jackman has appeared on Broadway in Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway, A Steady Rain and The Boy From Oz -- for which he won the 2004 Tony Award -- as well as off-Broadway's Carousel. In 2012, Jackman was honored with a Tony Award Special Award for Extraordinary Contribution to the Theatre Community.
