VIDEO: Marina Kamen's 'Musical Health Talk!' Broadcast brings Vocals, Violin and 'YOGA' Together with Master Yoga Trainers Angela Rauscher & Justin Randolph
When most of us think of Yoga, we think of poses, sweat, slow and deliberate with a much needed amount of self motivation and determination. Like any "art form", Yoga may only be considered, in my opinion, to be executed by a Master Yoga Trainer who brings talent, music and theatrics into the mix. A Master Yoga trainer who shares their own pain, life experience and performance training and then brings it onto the Yoga floor.
As a person myself who has studied dance since 1964, starting at the age of 5 at The American Ballet Theatre and June Taylor Dance Company, then moving on to studying with Luigi, Alvin Ailey, Frank Hatchett and countless other dynamic dance Master entertainers, I never really found any enjoyment in Yoga and could not wrap my head around what was making it such a "thing!"
While walking down 1st ave. In Manhattan NYC, I was introduced to a place called "House of Jai Yoga" by fellow dancer Wendy Goldhill whom I had know since 1979 during my time as a young dancer, singer & performer here in NYC. I was reluctant but figured I would join her and bore myself with a bit of much needed stretching. To my surprise, I found myself enveloped by a delicious surrounding and blend of music, fragrance, comfort and performance. The 2 Master Yoga Trainers I experienced were Justin Randolph, a gentle yet confident young man with a background in voice & theatre and then to Angela Rauscher who took me to a place that brought me to tears. The combination of music, texture and personal journey of their own made my mind connect truly to my body. Mind, body & spirit is so loosely used in yoga and very few actually display it. Well, after all, Talent is key in teaching and getting through to anyone and both of these Master Yoga Trainers have just that! Talent!
Please enjoy this special Video Broadcast as you join us for a "YOGA Musical Health Talk!"

Angela's energy, passion, and love for what she does is a vital ingredient in her work with students to support them on their yoga journey.
Angela's greatest desire and her dharma is to inspire, encourage, and empower others to live life to their highest potential. To Angela, yoga is more than asana practice (the postures); it has been, and continues to be, a life changing journey and commitment to her true self. She has been studying and practicing Buddhism for the past 7 years, and continues to study and practice yoga on and off the mat, on a daily basis.
An actor, singer, yoga teacher, and Reiki Master, Justin Randolph's artistic and nurturing spirit not only helps him on the stage but also on the mat. After years of practicing yoga, Justin wanted to find a way to give back and share the healing experience of yoga with others. Justin received his 200 hour Vinyasa training in NYC at Three Sisters Yoga, and is currently training in the advanced 500 hour Vinyasa training at Three Sisters Yoga. Justin is also 20 Hour Yin Yoga Certified from House of Jai Yoga. Justin strives to bring compassion in his classes by making yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of age and physical ability. In Justin's class you will experience an alignment based practice, with a freedom to explore and make each pose your own. Passionate about service, Justin has served as a volunteer yoga teacher, teaching yoga to incarcerated young adults at Rikers Prison, and serves as yoga teacher yearly at Camp Erin; a bereavement camp for children and adults who have experienced a deep loss.
