Cynthia Reeves Gallery to Host Seattle Art Fair, 7/30

Seattle is a land bounded by water on one side, and three mountain ranges encircling its green, jewel-like perch by the sea. In that spirit, CYNTHIA-REEVES (Booth 509) is featuring artworks that augment that voice of the natural world and its beneficent impress on our psyche. Seattle's own John Grade contributes elements of his current study on climate change as manifested through blown glass orbs: a reiteration of antique glass floats used by fishing boats to mark their nets, now recast as sculptural forms - a harbinger of a more elaborated and fully formed installation on the Arctic to come in 2016.
