On September 9, The Broadway League presented a special 9/11 Tribute in Duffy Square, for which the Broadway community united for an encore rendition "New York, New York" in honor of the iconic performance that took place one decade ago when Broadway performers helped inspire New Yorkers to return to normalcy with a landmark outdoor sing-a-long to the same tune. Everyone is talking about the FOLLIES revival, which opened this week on Broadway to multiple rave reviews! Performances began on Sunday, August 7th for James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES, directed by Eric Schaeffer, with choreography by Warren Carlyle and music direction by James Moore. FOLLIES features a cast of 41 and stars two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters as Sally Durant Plummer, four-time Tony Award nominee Jan Maxwell as Phyllis Rogers Stone, two-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein as Buddy Plummer, three-time Emmy Award nominee Ron Raines as Benjamin Stone and Olivier Award winner Elaine Paige as Carlotta Campion. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, FOLLIES cast member Jenifer Foote received the Gypsy Robe and BroadwayWorld was there for the celebration. At the song and dance ceremony, cast members who were making their Broadway debuts were acknowledged at the center of the stage. Call then proceeded to circle the room in the robe in celebration with the entire FOLLIES family. Click here for more photos from the celebration!

ROCK OF AGES is currently in previews at London's Shaftsbury Theatre, led by Justin Lee Collins, Shayne Ward, Amy Pemberton, Oliver Tompsett and Simon Lipkin. The production officially opens on September 27. The cast is rounded out by: Ja'Keith Gill, Rohan Tickell, Jodie Jacobs, Sandy Moffat Nathan Amzi, Natalie Andreou, Grant Anthony, Carly Mercedes Dyer, Cordelia Farnworth, Ian McIntosh, Twinnie-Lee Moore, Jamie Muscato, Andrew Spillett, Zizi Strallen, Amy Thornton and Dylan Turner. Roundabout Theatre Company is presenting three-time Tony Award® winner Frank Langella as "Gregor Antonescu" in Terence Rattigan's drama Man and Boy, directed by Maria Aitken.
The cast also features Adam Driver as "Basil Anthony", Francesca Faridany as "Countess Antonescu", Zach Grenier as "Mark Herries", Brian Hutchison as "David Beeston", Virginia Kull as "Carol Penn", Michael Siberry as "Sven Johnson". For more production shots, click here.

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, has played to over five-hundred-thousand audience members. The 500,000th ticketholder, Australian youngster Jordan Muir, was surprised during the curtain call when Patrick Page (Green Goblin) invited the boy and his parents, Michelle and Rob Muir, onstage for a special recognition. Directed by Richard Eyre, PRIVATE LIVES will play at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) with previews beginning on Sunday November 6 and opening night set for Thursday November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5 2012. Prior to Broadway, PRIVATE LIVES will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre. Neil Patrick Harris, co-star of "How I Met Your Mother" was honored this week by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce with his first star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony was held in celebration of the upcoming DVD release of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Season 6: The New Is Always Better Edition on September 27. Click here for more photos from the event!

James Vásquez directs THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW at The Old Globe, with book, music and lyrics by Richard O'Brien, choreography by JT Horenstein and music direction by Mike Wilkins. The Rocky Horror Show will run in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, Sept. 15 - Nov. 6. Preview performances run Sept. 15 - Sept. 22. LAByrinth Theater Company is presenting the World Premiere Production of The Atmosphere of Memory by David Bar Katz, with performances beginning Saturday, October 15th and an opening October 30th.
