About the Program Viterbo University Theatre offers dynamic undergraduate theatre and music theatre programs where you can take advantage of exceptional training, technologically advanced facilities, and the best in liberal arts education. We offer the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in music theatre, theatre (emphases: acting, design/technical production, stage management), and arts administration; the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in theatre arts; and the Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in theatre education. The department is actively involved in the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival. Our students train with a faculty of theatre professionals and visiting artists from around the nation. Students also benefit from connections at Guthrie Theatre, Milwaukee Rep, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, American Players Theatre, Children’s Theatre Company of Minneapolis, Dallas Children’s Theatre, Great River Shakespeare, and others. Production and performance opportunities abound with: 5-6 productions (including two musicals) every year Multiple all-student-driven productions of plays, dance and devised works Senior capstone shows Studio class performances and cabarets Weekly improv club practice and performance Hands-on experience assisting with more than 30 professional touring shows presented each year on our stages. Greenbrier Valley Theatre Announces New Artistic Leadership
February 05, 2021 Greenbrier Valley Theatre Board of Trustees have selected Matthew Scott Campbell to succeed Cathey Sawyer as the new artistic director of the non-profit Equity regional theatre. Campbell began his tenure in January and will work with Sawyer during a transition period before her retirement at the end May 2021.
Viterbo University Conservatory for the Performing Arts to Begin in Fall 2021
