FLASHLIGHTS

BIO:
Denver’s electro-pop darlings Flashlights have been turning heads ever since their Binary Records debut “Hidden Behind Trees EP”, earned them a mention in NME’s Buzzworthy Artists, and was named one of Westword Magazine’s best releases of 2011. Known for their intoxicating foggy light show, Flashlights have shared the stage with the likes of New Order, Tycho, Toro Y Moi, Miami Horror, Cherub, Youth Lagoon, and Gardens & Villa, and have been cutting their teeth on the festival circuit with recent performances at SXSW, CMJ, UMS, SnowBall, Treefort, and the Westword Music Showcase. 2012 marks the release of their sophomore EP “So Close To Midnight“ through Denver's HUG Records to rave reviews. SCTM is a brighter, more dance-oriented collection of songs, and boasts remixes by the likes of Brothertiger, Slow Magic, and Fabian. Having just released a new single "Scarves" this halloween, Flashlights have gone into hibernation to record their new album, due out in 2013.
