Broadway credits include Once On This Island, which earned a Grammy® nomination for Best Musical Theater Album, and the show won the Tony for Best Musical Revival. They were also nominated for Outstanding Featured Performer in a Broadway Musical at the Outer Critics Circle Awards for "Shucked." Additionally, Alex Newell received a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical at the Tony Awards for their role in "Shucked."
