This Sunday: As President Obama takes his economic message on the road we'll talk with Jack Lew, the man behind the numbers, in his first "Meet the Press" interview since being named Treasury Secretary.

Then: A high-stakes vote in the House on a measure to curb the NSA's ability to collect data on American citizens is narrowly defeated. But the debate over privacy and security has mired Capitol Hill since the leak of classified documents about intelligence gathering programs at the NSA. We'll get the latest from House Intelligence Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI).

Also Sunday: President Obama hit the road this week to try and return focus on the economy, but will his speeches grease the political gridlock in Washington? Plus, battles over the debt loom ahead as a group of Republicans threaten to shut down the government over funding for Obamacare. Is there any hope for compromise? Our roundtable weighs in: former top strategist for President Obama, now NBC Senior Political Analyst David Axelrod; Host of CNBC's "Closing Bell," Maria Bartiromo; GOP strategist Mike Murphy; and former Democratic Congressman from Tennessee, Harold Ford, Jr.
