(11/27/2023) - The much anticipated Roxette musical, inspired by the pop duo’s music and with a plot taken from the Jane Fallon book Got you back, now has a name - Joyride the Musical. It will be directed by Guy Unsworth and the world premiere will take place at Malmö Opera Sept 6 2024.

(11/22/2021) - Stockholm’s prestigious Royal Dramatic Theatre commissioned America’s Congress for Jewish Culture to present director Moshe Yassur’s critically acclaimed 2013 Off-Broadway Yiddish language staging of WAITING FOR GODOT. The production played to three sold out houses November 13th and 14th.

(7/11/2018) - A lot of people have seen Mamma Mia the movie and are looking forward to the sequel, Mamma Mia Here We Go Again. Well tonight the wait was over for some lucky fans as it was a special opening night in Stockholm at the Cinema Filmstaden Sergel. A huge crowd had gather waiting for some of the cast to attend the blue carpet prior to entering the cinema.

World renowned speakers, moderators and performers included: Sandee Brawarsky (Jewish Week), David Denby (The New Yorker), Agneta Furvik (Swedish Radio), Judy Gold (Comedian), Adam Gopnik (New Yorker), Stewart F. Lane (Broadway Producer & Author), Tony Michels (UWisconsin), Letty Cottin Pogrebin (Ms Magazine), Annie Polland (American Jewish History Association), Ricki Neuman (Swedish Daily News), Jody Rosen (New York Times), Rabbi Peter Rubinstein (92nd Street Y), Hilan Warshaw (Documentarian) & Bjorn Wiman (Swedish Daily News) with a special appearance by Johan Rabaeus (Swedish Royal Dramatic Theatre), and a musical performance by Freudenthal Yiddish Orchestra.
