BIO
Broadway credits include Matilda, Rocky, Mamma Mia!, Ghost, Bye, Bye, Birdie, The Story of My Life, Good Vibrations, Seussical, Titanic, and Showboat. David was the music supervisor and principal conductor for the new Radio City New York Spectacular this past summer. Other music directing credits include the Los Angeles production of Ragtime (LA Drama Critics Award- outstanding music direction), The Phantom of the Opera (Toronto), and the Lincoln Center productions of Dessa Rose and The Glorious Ones. His show Bingo, written with Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid, is currently playing worldwide.

The myriad music, moods, and motifs of the “king of pop” (not to mention generic mastery of soul, rhythm and blues, funk, rock, disco, and dance-pop) Michael Jackson, are electrifyingly on display in the ingeniously cutting -edge musical MJ: The Musical now playing at the National Theatre. Not at all the expected “jukebox musical”, I was surprised to witness the finesse and craftsmanship of an extremely ambitious theatrical offering that was truly intelligent.
