Ann Sanders Biography
Ann most recently originated the role of Queen Iduna in Disney Theatricals’ Frozen on Broadway. She has the honor of being the first Asian American performer to play Anna Leonowens in The King and I and Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Her other Broadway credits include Dear Evan Hansen (Cynthia), If/Then (Cathy), with Idina Menzel, Avenue Q (Christmas Eve), and Leap of Faith. Off-Broadway she was seen in Plenty with Rachel Weisz at The Public Theater and Falsettoland (Trina), at the Vineyard Theatre. Internationally she made her debut as Ellen in Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon. Regional shows include Allegiance with George Takei, Hair, Shrek, Carousel. Concerts: Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall. Television appearances include The Good Fight, Evil, Madam Secretary, New Amsterdam, Instinct, Elementary, Unforgettable, FBI, All My Children, As The World Turns and Johnny and The Sprites.Ann Sanders News
