'ONCE AGAIN' (for the very first time) wins Audience Award at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Boaz Yakin's film premieres in competition at the prestigious festival. The film is also executive produced by Nicholas Maye and Van Lathan, executive producers of the film, “Two Distant Strangers,”  under their Six Feet Over Productions banner.

After some speculation that the musical big screen adaptation of The Color Purple would again move its opening day amidst the ongoing strikes in Hollywood, Variety is reporting that the film will stick with its planned opening of Christmas Day, December 25, 2023.

Fantasia Barrino leads the cast of the film as Celie. Danielle Brooks will reprise her Tony-nominated performance as Sofia, which we played in the musical's 2016 revival. Taraji P.
