Cast And Creative Team Announced For LITTLE ROCK At The Sheen Center

Rebel Theatrical Management, LLC (Harvey Butler, producer), in association with The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, have announced, today, the cast and the creative team for the New York premiere of the new play Little Rock, written and directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj. Performances are set to begin Today, May 30, 2018 for a limited run through September 8, 2018 at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street). Original Founders Return to Hawaii Shakespeare Festival

The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival (HSF) celebrates its seventeenth season with the return of all three founding members: Tony Pisculli, R. Kevin Garcia Doyle, and Harry Wong, III. The last time all three directed together was during HSF's 10th season in 2011. The season kicks off with Shakespeare's twisted, fairy-tale take on romantic comedy All's Well That Ends Well, opening July 13. Next is Shakespeare's most painful tragedy King Lear, opening July 27. California Shakespeare Theater continues its 44th Season with the West Coast Premiere of Everybody, a sparkling new riff on the 15th-century morality play The Summoning of Everyman by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, whom the New York Times calls "one of this country's most original and illuminating writers.' A finalist for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize in Drama, Everybody is Cal Shakes' second official offering under the New Classics Initiative (NCI), exploring what it means to be a classical theater in the 21st century, and to allow living writers to expand our classical canon.
