Douglas received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for his critically acclaimed performance as The Scarlet Pimpernel on Broadway; a role which he reprised on the first national tour earning him an Ovation Award. He most recently starred in Lady Be Good at Encores, My Favorite Year at the York Theatre and as the title character in the Actors Fund performance of Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol. Other Broadway/New York: Little Shop of Horrors (Broadway, Drama League Award), Music in the Air and Carnival (Encores), On the 20th Century (Actors Fund) and Moonlight & Magnolias (MTC). National Tour: Gomez Addams in The Addams Family, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods. His regional theater credits include Living on Love (Williamstown Theater Festival), His Girl Friday (La Jolla Playhouse), Ride the Tiger (Long Wharf Theater), White Noise (Royal George, Chicago), Peter Pan (Paper Mill Playhouse), She Loves Me (Westport), A Little Night Music (Kennedy Center), Much Ado About Nothing (South Coast Rep), Mack & Mabel (Reprise LA) and numerous leading roles for the California Shakespeare Festival. Douglas has appeared on the small screen in recurring roles on "CSI" and "The Closer" as well as "Numb3rs," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and "Will & Grace." His film credits include the upcoming feature Erotic Fire of the Unattainable and Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo. Douglas attended the University of Michigan and the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

The Frogs is a humorous piece of fluff, with great character songs, and lush choral works. MasterVoices hit it out of the park with this exquisite staging of an interesting work that’s unlikely to get a revival like this anytime soon.
