Adrian Bailey passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 67. In a rare tradition that reflects the magnitude of Mr. Bailey’s impact on the Broadway industry and the community, the Committee of Theatre Owners will dim the lights of one theater from every Theater Owner on Broadway in his honor. Where Broadway's Newest Shows Got Their Start
The 2024/25 Broadway season is here at last, with many new productions set to arrive before the end of the year. For eight of those shows (Home, The Roommate, Yellow Face, McNeal, Our Town, Left on Tenth, Romeo + Juliet, and Gypsy), Broadway is the first stop, but the other twelve have have already enjoyed runs all over the world. The first all-Gershwin concert in history Cuban Overture will be re-created July 11, 2024 at the Hollywood Bowl as All-Gershwin. Former LA Phil Associate Conductor Lionel Bringuier reprises the night with Gershwin’s iconic classical, jazz, and Caribbean rhythms, while celebrating Rhapsody in Blue’s 100th anniversary, The evening will feature the Los Angeles Philharmonic, pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and vocalists Isabel Leonard and Tony Yazbeck.
