The 10-episode comedy will star Hilary Duff ('Younger') as Sophie, with Duff also serving as a producer. The sequel will use a multi- and single-camera approach similar to its predecessor. The cast also includes Kim Cattrall, Josh Peck, Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Suraj Sharma, and Tien Tran.

The series features three Tony Award® winners and critically-acclaimed powerhouse talents: Stephanie J. Block (The Cher Show) on January 7; Santino Fontana (Tootsie) on February 5; and Laura Benanti (Gypsy) on March 26.

In the near future, Sophie (Hillary Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options. 

Broadway’s back and Seth Rudetsky's Broadway Concert Series presented by Mark Cortale returns in 2022 as Seth dishes the dirt and raises the roof with Tony Award winners Stephanie J. Block, Santino Fontana and Laura Benanti in Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker.

The stage has already hosted the Hulu Original series “How I Met Your Father” which premieres early next year. Showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger had conceived a pivotal sequence for an episode of the show set in New York City, in which their lead character walks the Brooklyn Bridge with her friends. After losing 154 pounds, he broke the world record for most weight lost for a movie role in cinema history.
