Pedro Pascal appeared early in his career in television series including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NYPD Blue, The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie, and Homeland. He is a member of New York City’s LAByrinth Theater Company.

In 2020, he portrayed Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman 1984 and appeared in We Can Be Heroes.
In 2022, he co-starred in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, appeared in The Bubble, and starred in the short film House Comes With a Bird.
In 2023, he starred as Joel Miller in HBO’s The Last of Us, hosted Saturday Night Live, appeared in the short film Strange Way of Life, joined the cast of Drive-Away Dolls (2024), and narrated Patagonia: Life on the Edge of the World. He received three Primetime Emmy nominations the same year.
In 2024, he starred in Freaky Tales, appeared in the animated feature The Wild Robot (voice role), and starred in Gladiator II.
In 2025, he appeared in Materialists, Eddington, and portrayed Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. He is set to reprise the role in Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027), and return as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026).
