Review: THE HOLY ROSENBERGS, Menier Chocolate Factory
by Franco Milazzo - Mar 10, 2026

At the Menier Chocolate Factory, the revival of Ryan Craig’s The Holy Rosenbergs arrives with the weight of history attached to it. When it first appeared at the National Theatre’s Cottesloe Theatre in 2011, it was a sharp entry into a conversation about Jewish identity, family loyalty and modern political fracture. Fifteen years on, the conversation has become rather crowded.
Review: HEDDA GABLER at Kavinoky Theatre
by Michael Rabice - Mar 8, 2026

Lady Macbeth, Blanche DuBois, Medea… all are dream roles for any actress to conquer. And Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler ranks right up there with these supercharged women who dominate the stage. Kavinoky  Theatre is presenting a new version of HEDDA GABLER by Patrick Marber ( from a literal translation by Karin and Ann Bamborough).
Review: AFTER MISS JULIE, Park Theatre
by Gary Naylor - Feb 14, 2026

War is over. The Labour Party has won a historic majority and will form a government anchored by socialist principles (fancy that), the NHS about to be born - and financed. The world was turning upside down and, so too, was the humble kitchen of the not so humble manor house of a peer who took the new government’s whip. New was sliding past old, but the friction so caused sent sparks flying - one was always going to ignite.

Review Roundup: Did THE PRODUCERS Go Right in the West End?
by Aliya Al-Hassan - Sep 16, 2025

Adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks’ 1968 film of the same name, with lyrics by Brooks and music by Brooks and Glen Kelly. As in the film, the story concerns two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Complications arise when the show unexpectedly turns out to be successful. What did the critics think of the show's transfer to the West End, after sell-out run at the Menier Chocolate factory?
Review: THE PRODUCERS, Garrick Theatre
by Aliya Al-Hassan - Sep 15, 2025

It took over twenty years for a revival of Mel Brooks's The Producers to come to London and the diminutive Menier Chocolate Factory more than held its own for a sold-out and universally well-received show. Now it makes a triumphant move to the West End's Garrick Theatre and continues to prove that great comedy is simply timeless.
