Jordan E. Cooper is an award-winning playwright who lives in Brooklyn and is currently obtaining his BFA degree at The New School For Drama. His last play Black Boy Fly was voted 'Best New Play' by BroadwayWorld.Com. He can be seen starring in the critically acclaimed feature film WOLF, which is now available on Amazon and iTunes .His musical Alice Wonder premiered in concert previously this year at 54 Below.

Cooper discussed how he became inspired to write, the play's pre-mature closing, earning support from stars like Lee Pace, Queen Latifah and Tyler Perry, and more. Watch the video now!


Jordan E. Cooper has been nominated for several awards for his work in the play "Ain't No Mo'." These include the Distinguished Performance Award at the Drama League Awards, the Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play at the Tony Awards, another Distinguished Performance Award at the Drama League Awards, and Special Citations at the Obie Awards.
