Just last week, the Broadway and National Tour casts of MJ gathered for a special send off celebration at the Civilian Hotel. The musical will soon launch its First National Tour at Broadway In Chicago’s James M. Nederlander Theatre from August 1 – September 2, 2023.  Check out photos from inside the festivities here!

Last night, Elijah Rhea Johnson made his Broadway debut and took his first bow as Michael Jackson in MJ, the multiple Tony Award-winning musical. More than 100 talented young NYC public school theatre artists will make their Broadway debuts in The Shubert Foundation’s 2023 High School Theatre Festival for NYC Public Schools on Monday, March 20 at 7:30pm at the Broadhurst Theatre.

This video features the massively charming and thoughtful triple threat Apollo Levine, who made his Broadway debut last year in “MJ”! On the one year anniversary of the show, Apollo shares his audition process for the musical and why audiences should flock to the theatre to see this epic production!

Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley bring their hit series to The Green Room 42 for a special one-night-only Stars in the House for Climate Action to benefit the Broadway Green Alliance. Tony winner Jessie Mueller has just joined the lineup!

Apollo Levine will assume the role of “Joseph Jackson/Rob” in MJ on Broadway! MJ is directed and choregraphed by two-time Tony Award winner Christopher Wheeldon, with a book written by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage.

MJ on Broadway will partner with Color Farm Media, Reggie Van Lee and Nico Sidoti to present two $10,000 scholarships to previously selected students from Historically Black College and Universities in celebration of MJ's sponsoring of the 2022 Toyota HBCU New York Football Classic presented by Walmart: Morehouse Tigers vs. Howard Bison football game.
