High School Musical Theatre Awards At Proctors Unveils Lead Performer Nominees
The ceremony will take place at Proctors in Schenectady.
The Collaborative School of the Arts has announced the nominees for Outstanding Lead Performers for the 10th annual High School Musical Theatre Awards, taking place at Proctors in Schenectady.
The ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. on the MainStage at Proctors Theatre and will feature participation from 25 high schools across the Capital Region and surrounding areas. The event will be hosted by Apollo Levine, currently appearing in MJ the Musical.
Nominees for Outstanding Lead Performers were selected following a round of callbacks. Five nominees will be recognized in each category, with two students advancing to represent the region at the National High School Theatre Awards in New York City.

- Karissa Beehm as Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress (Schenectady High School)
- Annon Breault as Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street (Whitehall Central School)
- Carter Mack as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Ticonderoga High School)
- Roman Mangino as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family Musical: School Edition (Ballston Spa High School)
- Macklin McGrath as Prince Dauntless in Once Upon a Mattress (Glens Falls High School)
- Nicholas Merzig as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family Musical: School Edition (Queensbury High School)
- Max Mittler as Jack Kelly in Disney’s Newsies (Saratoga Springs High School)
- Paige Rivers as Eurydice in Hadestown: Teen Edition (Voorheesville High School)
- Delaney Sano as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family Musical: School Edition (Queensbury High School)
- Lily Sinnott as Natasha in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (Shenendehowa High School)
Past participants in the national program have included Eva Noblezada, Reneé Rapp, Andrew Barth Feldman, McKenzie Kurtz, and Casey Likes.

Tickets for the High School Musical Theatre Awards are on sale through the Proctors box office, available in person, by phone at (518) 346-6204 Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., or online.
