Lindsay Mendez

Lindsay Mendez made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of *Grease*. Her early stage credits also include *A Little More Alive*, *The Marvelous Wonderettes*, *35MM*, *Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris*, and *Princesses*. In 2008, she appeared in *Spare Some Change: NYC Artists for Barack Obama* alongside a cast of New York performers.

In 2012, Mendez starred opposite Derek Klena in the Off-Broadway musical *Dogfight*, earning nominations for the Drama League Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Award. She went on to star as Elphaba in the Broadway production of *Wicked* beginning in 2013. That same year, she and Klena released the jazz album *This Time* and frequently performed together at 54 Below.

Mendez co-founded Actor Therapy with composer Ryan Scott Oliver, a training program for young performers in New York City. In 2014, she appeared as Naomi Rodriguez in *21 Chump Street*, and in 2015 she starred as Laura in the play *Significant Other*. She was also slated to appear in the Broadway premiere of *Nerds* in 2016 before the production was canceled.

In 2018, Mendez starred as Carrie Pipperidge in the Broadway revival of *Carousel*, earning the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She later played Mary Flynn in the 2022 Off-Broadway revival of *Merrily We Roll Along* at New York Theatre Workshop and reprised the role in the 2023 Broadway revival, receiving her second Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

On television, Mendez had a main role in the legal drama *All Rise*, which ran from 2019 to 2023. She also appeared in the anthology series *American Sports Story*.
