BIO

Jeff Sullivan is a New York based actor, singer, dancer most recently seen playing Michael in 'Smokey Joe's Cafe' at The John W. Engeman Theatre. He's most well known for his portrayal of J.M. Barrie on the National Tour of 'Finding Neverland'. You can also catch Jeff on Season 2, Ep 14 of 'Hudson & Rex' as the role of Jay Tomlinson on CityTV in Canada.

Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, Jeff's interest in performing began when his elementary choir teacher saw potential in him and made Jeff commit to the choir even though all the “cool kids” were dropping out. Thanks to Mrs. Noreen Greene-Fraize, he found a hidden enthusiasm for the arts. He later joined the Mount Pearl Show Choir where he performed internationally with a Peace Education Tour.

After high school, Jeff moved to NYC to attend the Musical Theatre & Film Conservatory at New York Film Academy. Since graduating, he has had the honor to continue working in the U.S. and all over the world with such theatre companies as: NETworks Presentations, Paper Mill Playhouse, Royal Caribbean Productions, Tuacahn Amphitheater, Big League Productions, BB Promotions - Sundance Productions, Inc., Surflight Theatre, etc.

He was awarded BroadwayWorld NJ's Best Actor in a Professional Musical for the role of Tony Brockhurst in ‘The Boy Friend’ at Surflight Theatre.

Jeff is a member of Actors' Equity Association.

Review: Some Kind of Wonderful - BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL at Maine State Music Theatre
by Carla Maria Verdino-Süllwold - Aug 9, 2024

Powered by poetry, fueled by raw and resilient emotion, and presented with passion and high voltage energy by a company committed to the music and message, BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL triumphantly takes the stage as the finale of Maine State Music Theatre’s 2024 season. Exploring the early life and creative journey of popular music’s living legend, Carole King, BEAUTIFUL is a biographical jukebox musical that plays like a top 10 hit parade, at the same time that it tells its disarmingly, immediate and vulnerable story. With the luminous Kyra Kennedy giving a deeply authentic, earthy, and uplifting performance in the title role, BEAUTIFUL offers both absorbing entertainment and inspiration.
