Jeff Sullivan Biography
Jeff Sullivan is originally from Newfoundland, Canada and has been performing since his childhood. He attended the Mount Pearl Senior High School and was an avid member of the Mount Pearl Show Choir for 5 years where they travelled across the globe performing in Peace Education Tours in places such as Vimy Ridge and Beaumont Hamel. While keeping up with show choir, Jeff was also a dedicated member to the community and regional theatre companies. Some of his credits back home include; Theatre St. John's productions of Fame (Nick Piazza) and West Side Story (Bernardo), Etcetera Productions staging of Seussical (Cat In The Hat), Peter MacDonald Productions staging of Scrooge (Young Scrooge) along with The Spirit of Newfoundland's production of The Best Newfoundland Christmas Pageant Ever (Ralph Herdmen).Now based out of New York City, he is a graduate from The New York Film Academy's 2-Year Musical Theatre & Film Conservatory Program. Some of his more recent credits include Off-Broadway: Honestly Abe (Abraham Lincoln) Regional: The Boy Friend (Tony Brockhurst) at Surflight Theatre. If you want a high-energy show, Smokey Joe's Café is definitely for you. The musical revue, on Broadway from 1995-2000, highlights the music of songwriting team Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The spectacle features their hit songs done back to back including 'Love Potion Number 9', 'Yakity Yak', 'Stand By Me' and 'Jailhouse Rock'. Believe me when I say that you will be dancing in your seat at some point.
