BIO
Any successful wedding requires something old and something new. The prospect of walking down the aisle with old friends in an original Broadway musical is irresistible to me. Perhaps, the something borrowed and something blue had best be sorted out in rehearsal. Recent Broadway: Encores: Mrs. Eggleston in Little Me, Madame, the tragically misunderstood stepmother in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella Broadway. I have appeared as other near perfect or deeply flawed women in, Present Laughter, Cry Baby: The Musical, Old Acquaintance, and The Man Who Came to Dinner. In 2002 I received the Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Featured Actress in a Musical as Mrs. Meers in Thoroughly Modern Millie. This past year, much to the surprise of my former glee club members, I made my debut at the San Francisco Opera in Show Boat. Off Broadway: Standing on Ceremony, Yeast Nation, Jeffrey (Drama Desk nomination), Bella, Belle of Byelorussia (Drama Desk nomination), Christmas on Mars, and Rude Entertainment. Regional appearances include, Guthrie Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Kennedy Center. Film credits include: Love Is Strange, Memento, Nurse Betty, Addams Family Values. TV credits include: “Desperate Housewives†( as Felicia Tillman), “Frasier†( as agent Bebe Glazer). Member of the Acting Company, AEA.
