Jak Malone began his stage career as Dim in A Clockwork Orange at the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool in 2018. In 2019, he joined the original cast of Operation Mincemeat at the New Diorama Theatre, playing Hester Leggatt and other roles.

Jak Malone began his stage career as Dim in A Clockwork Orange at the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool in 2018. In 2019, he joined the original cast of Operation Mincemeat at the New Diorama Theatre, playing Hester Leggatt and other roles. He also appeared in Max and Ivan: Fugitives as Dimitri in 2019.
Malone continued with Operation Mincemeat through productions at Southwark Playhouse in 2020, 2021 and 2022, followed by a run at Riverside Studios in 2022. He made his West End debut with the musical at the Fortune Theatre in 2023 and appeared in Sondheim on Sondheim as himself at Alexandra Palace in 2024.
In 2025, Malone made his Broadway debut in Operation Mincemeat at the John Golden Theatre, reprising his roles as Hester Leggatt and others. He continued with the production through 2026.
Malone's performance in Operation Mincemeat earned him a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2024. In 2025, he won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Performer in a Broadway Musical, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical, the Dorian Award for Outstanding Featured Performance in a Broadway Musical and the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical.
