BIO
Growing up, Ellis appeared in the original cast of Pasek & Paul's “James & the Giant Peach” (Goodspeed Musicals, dir. Graciela Danielle), Kooman & Dimond's “Dani Girl” (off-Broadway, Cherry Lane Theatre, dir. Scott Schwartz), “The King & I” (North Shore Music Theatre, "Best Performance by a Young Actor" IRNE winner), & in various boy soprano roles at the Met/NYC Opera under creatives Phyllis Newman, Stephen Schwartz, & more. In recent years, he starred in Kitt/Yorkey & Michael Greif's Tony-winning “Next To Normal” (original Taiwan cast), Danny K. Bernstein's “Far From Canterbury” (world premiere, The Barnstormers Theatre), & “Into The Woods” (Arden Theatre, BWW nominated). He served as a swing on the U.S. tour of “The FlyBoys" & was seen in the developments of Richard Matlby's "Noble Family," Paul Gordon's "The Gospel According To Heather," & Kerrigan & Lowdermilk/Jiehae Park's "Kill The Boy Band." Currently, Ellis is appearing in “White Rose" (off-Broadway, Theatre Row).
