Review: WITCHES!? IN SALEM?! at TAFE: Theatre Arts For Everyone
by Sandra Harberger - Feb 23, 2026
This is a high energy show with an almost improv feel with lots of physical comedy. Many cast members were tasked with playing multiple parts, and I was impressed as always with their talent at creating a completely different character with a separate set of mannerisms, voices, and running gags. Some switches were even mid scene! Zachary Thompson had many laughs with his over the top performance as the evil Magistrate embodying multiple judges for the trial. The Bloodkravens, played by Michaela Wagner and Mark Tauzin, were a fun twist as an actual witch and wizard trying to avoid being accused.
Review: RULE OF THUMB at Oyster Mill Playhouse

Murder, attempted murder, adultery, treachery, deception, and a desire for justice—Rule of Thumb, a series of one act murder mysteries by Agatha Christie has it all.
Review: MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET at TAFE: Theatre Arts For Everyone
by Sandra Harberger - Dec 7, 2025
You will meet a young single mother, Doris, played by Bryn Walker and her daughter Susan, played by Savannah Desrocher. A painful divorce lead her to close her heart off to love and lean heavily toward cynicism. A good hearted old man, Kris Kringle, helped heal her heart and restored her faith, and those around him during a holiday season in New York City. Steve Brown gave a flawless performance of Kris Kringle. He has perfected his performance since first being cast as Kris Kringle in 1997.

Review: ONCE ON THIS ISLAND at DreamWrights
by Sandra Harberger - Jun 7, 2025

Review: THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME at DreamWrights
by Sandra Harberger - Mar 24, 2025
If you liked the 2009 novel, then you will love this play. The story centers on Christopher, a teenager diagnosed with Autism. But, this isn’t a story about Autism. This story is about Christopher’s mission to uncover the truth about the death of his neighbor’s dog. He is quite the detective. Genevieve McLain gave an impressive and authentic performance of Christopher and how he sees the world. Bea Gilbert’s soothing voice was a perfect choice for Siobhan as she guides Christopher through this tough time in his life. The two worked well together.
Review: THE LARAMIE PROJECT at DreamWrights

DreamWrights is presenting the award winning play, “Laramie Project,” from November 7th to 10th under the direction of Rodd Robertson. The 22 cast members for “Laramie Project” used simple costume changes with a minimal set design to portray 78 different characters in a series of interviews between Moisé Kaufman and the Tectonic Theater Project Company. Each member carried multiple characters utilizing their strength with different accents and body language. A broad range of emotion and attitudes from both sides of the spectrum was expressed.
